Spring Fling in Farmington Country Club
Real Estate classes in a beautiful country club just West of Charlottesville.
The estate of Farmington was built prior to 1780! In 1803 Thomas Jefferson drew plans for an addition to the house.
In 1927 1,000 acre estate became a country club and a residential community.
FYI, there are 6 homes on the market in Farmington right now. Prices range from 900K to almost 4M.

What's Important Now (WIN)?
I love meeting inspiring people. Today it was Sharon Petro, founder of Head Coaching. Sharon Petro, PhD does have a point and her WIN method is easy to remember. Asking the right questions leads to getting the right answers. Works with real estate too!Labels: charlottesville real estate, Head Coaching, Sharon Petro

Beautiful day in C'ville!
I had two Open Houses today. Very good turnout. Met a wonderful family from Alexandria. They visited Orange for a wedding not long ago, loved the area. Now that they have an adorable 5 month old baby, they are seriously considering moving down to C'ville! Another great family came to my Downtown open house from Greene County, they are going to be empty nesters soon. Now that they are wise and with means, they want to be close to UVA and Downtown and have fun for themselves ;-) There were familiar faces too. I hold 2 open houses on almost every Sunday and see same people very often. It was not different this time. In addition, neighbors from my street came in!Saturday, March 12, 2011

You can't argue with statistics!
Our guest speaker at Women's Council of Realtors meeting was Mike Harvey, President of Thomas Jefferson Partnership for Economic Development. "The supply and demand will lead to higher inventory and future price declines". While crisis in new construction keeps the inventory of homes down, the effects of of it are negative for our economy. Very good points and lots to think about!Labels: charlottesville, charlottesville real estate, Thomas Jefferson Partnership for Economic Development
