Did you vote today?
I voted for the first time today! I became a US citizen on Sept. 30 and could not wait to participate in the presidential election. It was wonderful, I went to the poll at 6 in the morning. Our polling place was very busy and I spent almost an hour in line, but it went very fast. I felt shivers a couple of times from seeing so many people and realizing how important this day is. I wore my "I voted" sticker with pride.And thanks to Barbara for writing such kind words!
