The stars are coming to Charlottesville!
This weekend is another edition of the
Virginia Film Festival. The theme this year is family, which is fitting for us with our daughter's first birthday fast approaching. I'm hoping to catch
Dirty Dancing this Saturday, but at the very least we'll get out to the Downtown Mall for people (and hopefully, celebrity) watching. Hope to see you there!

Another reason to visit Virginia (like you need one)!
Central Virginia is always incredibly beautiful in the fall, so I think you should come down anyway, but one of my other reasons, vineyards, is getting
national recognition.
And that leads us to one of our favorite places to visit annually,
Oakencroft. If you're looking for a tasty table wine for under $10, the Countryside White and Red are good choices (and make great gifts)! Take some time to visit while there are still leaves on the trees!
