I can now help you in Waynesboro!

I've just joined the Augusta County Real Estate Board, which means I can start showing houses in the Waynesboro area. About 20 minutes from Charlottesville, a lot of first-time buyers with whom I've been working have been considering this area more often. Indeed, a lot of the Waynesboro market reminds me of the Charlottesville market when I started nine years ago. In Waynesboro it has been much easier to find starter homes in the 100-150K range, so please give me a call (989-1559) if you're looking!

There are certainly better ways to make the news!

I'd like to thank everyone who called to offer help; this past Sunday we had a very short and violent storm, and as a result, three trees in our yard fell with one of them striking our house. Fortunately, the damage to our house seems only to be on the outside save a broken window. A decorative arch on the side of the house was totally destroyed, and the front yard (as our neighbor put it) looks like King Kong walked through it. Although our house was the top story on the news that evening, the truth is that the damage looks a lot worse than it actually is, and we are grateful that despite the strength of the storm, no one was hurt.
