A little bit of Paris in Charlottesville!

My husband and I recently returned from a vacation in Paris, and one of my favorite pleasures was walking to one of the many stands along the streets for a crepe. So I was excited to hear that a new creperie, The Flat, has just opened on Water Street next to the Second Street Gallery. Apparently I wasn't the only one, as there was a line already waiting for the store to open when we walked by Saturday morning. I'm not sure that the 30-minute wait was worth up, but our crepes were fresh, delicious, surprisingly big, and certainly filling. I'd definitely recommend the place if you're looking for something new on the Downtown Mall, but I hope they figure out how to make the line move more smoothly...

News for first-time homebuyers!

There has been an ongoing issue in the Central Virginia area concerning the affordability of homes for first-time homebuyers. It seems that now legislation is being introduced to help combat the problem.

I'll keep you updated on this as I find out more, but I would welcome your comments or your calls if you're interested in buying a home. I've worked with many first-time buyers and I am sure I can help you!
