Concert review: Hall and Oates
I went to see them at the Paramount Theater this past weekend with my husband and our good friends Matt and Laura. It was a wonderful show; I didn't listen to them growing up as my husband did, but the performance was excellent and they played almost all of their greatest hits (which Matt was kind enough to record for us on a CD). My husband kept insisting that the true talent of the group was Oates, but Hall was great too.

Congratulations, ladies!
Hooray to everyone who ran in the Charlottesville 4-miler for breast cancer yesterday! I ventured out to Foxfield early in the morning to see the event, and to cheer my friend Annie on (49 minutes!) Everyone had a wonderful time, and to show you how generous everyone was feeling at the event, some of the women even contributed from their own water bottles to give Monty a drink!
