I'd like to take a moment...

...to mention a group that's very important for me and for which I do some volunteer translating work. The International Rescue Committee assists refugees with resettlement within the United States, and the Charlottesville office has been very active. I've met wonderful people on both sides of the aisle, and I believe the Charlottesville/Albemarle area is a better place thanks to the work of the IRC staff and the new members of our community.
