Chosen

I will be handling marketing and sales for a terrific development just East of Charlottesville. I see a lot of Martha Jefferson Hospital connections in the future ;-) This place would be perfect for MJ employees. Have to keep it hush for a couple of days, finalizing paperwork. Above is just a glimpse of the grounds, a view from the clubhouse. There was a pool party today and I got to meet many residents.

Speed Humps Spark Discussion in Charlottesville - NBC29

Speed Humps Spark Discussion in Charlottesville - NBC29
I am quoted in this news article and video. I live in Fry's Spring Neighborhood and I love the fact that my daughter and I can walk to her friend's house, to the Lawn, or to Fry's Spring Beach Club every day. Walking places enhances the quality of life for us, yet sometimes it's a dangerous undertaking because of aggressive drivers.
Discussing the issue of traffic calming is a great start toward solving this problem.

City schools proposal calls for stringent sugar reduction

More on what's going on in Charlottesville and city schools. I wonder how many daycares in town have a wellness policy? In my opinion, city schools have a chance to be a great role model for all children facilities in town!
City schools proposal calls for stringent sugar reduction: "The proposal, which would bring the first changes since 2006, calls for significant new regulations on what types of food will be available to students."

Some Like It Hot!

It's 100F outside, hot week literally and figuratively: showing properties, negotiation, closing, helping out with Women's Council of Realtors Picnic, and now preparing for 2 Open Houses this weekend. Oh, can't forget taking my daughter to see Sesame Street Live on Wednesday ;-)

Today was my first visit to the School Board Meeting. Interesting, a bit long, but educational. Here is the summary of the discussion that took place tonight.
